- Well-baby care, including all immunizations as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
- Physicals for kindergarten entry, sixth grade, sports, camp and yearly health maintenance.
- Treatment of acute illnesses: Performing diagnostic tests, urinalysis, strep screens, cultures, blood counts, flu testing and care for chronic ongoing illnesses, including attention-deficit disorders and asthma
- Treatment of minor injuries including insect bites, burns, sprains and strains
Services
We see newborns daily at Baptist Hospital East and Norton Women and Children's Hospital. We are informed when a newborn is delivered and the family has identified us as their pediatrician. One of our physicians will round on your baby every day he or she is in the hospital and then meet with parents to discuss our findings and answer any questions or concerns you may have. If your baby requires immediate attention, a hospital based neonatologist will be paged to address the presenting concern.
We also round daily at Norton Children's Hospital. We hope your child will never need admission to the hospital, but we feel strongly that this is when our patients and their parents need us most.
